MARCH FOR SCIENCE
The associations INNOVA (Asociación de jóvenes investigadores de la Universidad de Salamanca) and FJI (Federación de Jóvenes Investigadores) organize a national March for Science in Madrid the next 19th October 2019 . With this march, we want to show the relevance of Science and Research in our society. We also claim a State Pact for Science that assigns 2% of the General State Budgets for investment in I+D+i. This percentage is smaller than the recommendations of the European Commission. However, the 2% State Pact will ensure that research is not dependent on momentary interests of different political parties.
Each Monday, we are sharing videos and press releases highlighting the current and factual situation of the Scientif community in Spain. You can find these videos on our YouTube channel (Innova Salamanca FJI Salamanca) and our social networks(https://twitter.com/INNOVASalamanca). More information about the march on our website: https://innovausal.wordpress.com/
Please, contact us if you have any questions: marchaporlacienciainnova@gmail.com
You can also sign our petition in Change.org (https://www.change.org/p/ministerio-de-ciencia-espa%C3%B1a-se-queda-atr%C3%A1s-cumplan-ya-su-promesa-y-destinen-a-la-ciencia-el-2-del-pib)!
