Towards to a real open access to transfer research knowledge to society
MCAA, as excellence research organization, has an important responsibility facing the new issues that the humanity will face in the next years. From my side, EU funded projects, MSCA fellows and, in general, MCAA members have to contribute with their research towards a greener world, a best management of the natural resources, health challenges and the suppression of the racist, discrimination and violence. Summarizing, improve the quality of live while preserving the environment. In my opinion, MCAA has to serve as a common platform which facilitates their members to outreach a wider audience and to disseminate the results of these disruptive and ground-breaking projects. Moreover, the organization should act as a networking hub among the MCAA members to support them in the consecutions of these goals. To contribute to these tasks, potentiate a real open access to project’s data and results is a must, especially in these times when the fees to publish open research are continuously increasing and becoming discriminatory and biased. In this regard, I would like to advance in the potentiation of the free publications such as MCAA newsletters, the EU OpenAIRE platform, and the rest of alternatives to transfer to the society the ground-breaking advances of MCAA members’ research.
