Update from Pavlo, candidate for treasurer 🇺🇦

Dear all,

It is my great privilege to be a nominee for the position of the treasurer. I have been a little silent here.

I was in Chernihiv, Ukraine on the day of putin’s invasion. On the 24th, I managed to evacuate my mother to Poland. I am still there. Being close to Ukraine is important for my mother and I am supporting her. My grandmother is very close to the line of contact now. She was a rocket engineer working on the Soviet Concorde, Tu-144. And her father, my grand-grand father lost his arm defending russians against hitler. She raised me and I love her very much. And now she is not so well and living (surviving) in the basement. This war is very personal to me.

I am trying my best to help my country, my friends fighting on the streets of Chernihiv and my family. I am currently spending all my time and mental energy on volunteering and helping my family. Sadly, I will not be able to join the call for campaigning on the 10th. I hope to come back to ‘normal’ life next week and dedicate more time for MCAA.
