Work contracts & EU stipulations, MSCA H2020 Gobal Fellowship

On

Dear group members,

My MSCA Global Fellowship has just begun and I am trying to understand basic administrative points - which is not a simple matter. One thing I would like to understand is the link between European Commission statements & the administrative procedures of the two institutions (one in France, one in India) that are involved with my project.

Let us take for example the question of my working contract. According to the European Commission, any discontinuation in the project activity that exceeds 30 days (of course I hope any such thing will never happen in my case) would lead to a temporary suspension of the project, and the project end date would be postponed for the number of days or months corresponding to the duration of the suspension.

My working contract on the other side (which is the responsibility of the French institution involved in the project) does not mention anything regarding this point. It is a simple working contract starting from 01.07.2021 to 30.06.2024. What would happen if any suspension, or any other change affecting the end date of the project, would occur? Would the contract be cancelled and replaced by a new one? What procedure would have to be undertaken?

If you know anything, I will be happy to understand.

With best regards to all of you!
