On August 25- 26, MCAA China Chapter together with ECAEE will host the second "Europe-China Eco-Environmental Forum for Young Scholars". The Forum will be held both online (via Tencent Live) and in person at the Catholic University of Leuven (Belgium). All speakers are young Chinese scholars working in Europe, including junior faculties, Humboldt scholars, Marie-Curie scholars, and postdoctoral researchers. The forum will focus on five themes: Water Treatment and Recovery; Environmental Health and Toxicology; Environmental Microbiology and Molecular Ecology; Carbon Neutrality and Sustainable Development; Atmospheric Chemistry and Climate Change.
To increase the success rate of the 2023 MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowship applicants, and to expand the MCAA's influence in China. MCAA China and EURAXESS China are organising some personal mentorship sessions for applicants who are in the final stages of proposal preparation for the deadline of 13 September 2023.
The MCAA Andean-Caribbean Chapter, together with the rest of the MCAA Latam Chapters, is organizing this year's version of the MCAA LATAM CONFERENCE (3rd edition), taking place on October 27th and 28th, 2023 (preceded by a MCAA Latam Board meeting on October 26th afternoon), and hosted at Universidad Tecnológica de Bolívar (MSCA NCP Coordinator) in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia.
This conference will serve as a venue for MSCA current and former fellows attached to Latin America region (residents and/or citizens) to get together for communicating and disseminating their research while discussing matters of regional interest. It will be a forum for networking and collaboration, as well as for promoting MSCA and EU funding opportunities in the region.
This year's conference theme is Scientific Cooperation in Latin America, and the event will include different sessions around Scientific Cooperation for Regional Development and SDGs, Science Diplomacy and Citizen Science, among others, as well as talks/workshops on MSCA opportunities, research proposals and grant writing tips and tricks.
Main conference language will be Spanish.
MCAA China Chapter co-organizes and supports the Annual Conference of the Chinese Society for Environment, Ecology and Sustainability in Europe (CSESE), which invites 4 academicians and numerous well-known experts to participate in this conference. The conference will be held on July 26-28, 2023 in a combination of offline venue (Galway, Ireland) and online venue (global live streaming). The conference will include the main forum, sub-forums (three themes: environment, ecology and sustainable development), and offline symposium on water-energy-food coupling.
The aim of the conference is to talk about the processes to obtain these two types of European funding after the PhD.
MSCA National Contact Point will give an explanation about rules and deadlines for the application. MSCA Postdoctoral fellows and ERC fellow will talk about their personal experiences.

We further offer an open mic session for MSCA fellows to showcase their projects and results. Finally, we conclude the event with a walking networking dinner.
