Metabolism 2014 - Alterations of metabolic pathways as therapeutic targets

In 1998, we organized the first specialized meeting in the field of signal transduction and gene expression in Luxembourg. This type of meeting was originally thought to teach doctoral students of the molecular and cellular biology master training program of the University of Nancy I (France).

WATER INNOVATION IN ACTION - €50 million to support innovative solutions in water-related challenges

11 innovative demonstration projects will be presented during a one-day event which will take place on 24 January 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. The projects will involve the collaboration of 179 partners from research organisations and private companies (more than 70 partners are SMEs).

Info day on Open Disruptive Innovation & Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support in the Horizon 2020 Work Programme

The Info day on Open Disruptive Innovation & Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support in the Horizon 2020 Work Programme will take place on 24 January 2013 in Brussels, Belgium. Participants will be given information on the Open Disruptive Innovation Scheme and Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support - announced in the Horizon 2020 Work Programme. They will be given also the possibility to present their proposals for the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Support programme and to arrange bilateral meetings with Commission representatives.

Seventh International Conference on Computers, Privacy & Data Protection

The Seventh International Conference on Computers, Privacy & Data Protection will take place from 22 to 24 January in Brussels, Belgium. This will be an opportunity to exchange ideas and to discuss emerging issues in information technology, privacy, data protection and law. Discussions will be led, among others, by representatives from the European Commission (DG CONNECT), the Information Accountability Foundation, the Heinz College, the University of California, Facebook, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the European Data Protection Supervisor.

Free online summer school: Global change and Resilient Landscapes (in Spanish)

Dear chapter members,

The Public University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain) is organizing its 6th Summer School on Ecology, this time the topic being "Global Change and Resilient Landscapes". Due to the COVID-19, this time the summer school will be held online, and registration will be free. However, for those willing to learn on the filed, there is also a one-day a field trip scheduled.

MSCA 'Postdoc Appreciation Week' Picnic in Boston - September 25, 2020 at 5 pm

The MCAA North America Chapter is organizing an annual picnic (physically distanced) to celebrate the contributions and the role of our Marie Curie fellows to research, discovery and innovation. We are inviting all Marie Curie fellows to join us for a fun Friday afternoon! This is a great opportunity for you to connect with new Marie Curie fellows and share your experiences.  

Snacks will be provided, please bring your own blanket.

The picnic will take place on September 25th at 5 pm in the Sennot Park, Cambridge (Broadway Street).
