H2020 Information day - Digital Security: Cybersecurity, Privacy, and Trustworthy ICT

The Horizon 2020 Information Day – Digital security (Cybersecurity, Privacy and Trustworhty ICT) is organised by the Unit CNECT H.4 (Trust and Security). This event will deal with the first Horizon 2020 calls on Digital Security in 2014, both in ICT LEIT and Societal Challenge 7 and will take place on 15 January 2014 in Brussels, Belgium. 9th ETSI Security Workshop

The 9th ETSI Security Workshop will take place on 15 January in Sophia-Antipolis, France. The workshop aims at creating stimulating discussions arising from contributions from those working within the areas of Security, including Privacy and Identity Management, Cybersecurity, Protection, Cloud Security, Smart Grids/Cities, Mobility, Security Criteria and Testing, Security Controls and Indicators, Machine to Machine and the latest in Security Research together with real security issues from Industry.

Information Day for Horizon 2020 Call 1 and 2 Objective: ICT 23 and ICT 24 Robotics

The information day for Horizon 2020 Call 1 and 2 Objective: ICT 23 and ICT 24 Robotics will take place from 13 to 14 January in Luxembourg. This will be an opportunity to present the activities, focus and goals of "Robotics" within this Call. On the first half-day, there will be a plenary session, with an opening presentation of robotics in H2020 and various presentations by members of the Robotics Unit, with opportunity for questions and discussion.

The 2nd International Conference on Photonics, Optics and Laser Technology will take place from 7 to 9 January 2014 in Lisbon, Portugal. This will be an opportunity to discuss different aspects related to Optics, Photonics and Lasers, covering both theoretical and practical aspects. Discussions will be led, among others, by representatives from the Centre of Physics and Technological Research, the University of East Anglia, from the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and from the University of Twente.

The Public University of Navarra (Pamplona, Spain) is organizing its 6th Summer School on Ecology, this time the topic being "Global Change and Resilient Landscapes". Due to the COVID-19, this time the summer school will be held online, and registration will be free. However, for those willing to learn on the filed, there is also a one-day a field trip scheduled.

The MCAA North America Chapter is organizing an annual picnic (physically distanced) to celebrate the contributions and the role of our Marie Curie fellows to research, discovery and innovation. We are inviting all Marie Curie fellows to join us for a fun Friday afternoon! This is a great opportunity for you to connect with new Marie Curie fellows and share your experiences.  

Snacks will be provided, please bring your own blanket.

The picnic will take place on September 25th at 5 pm in the Sennot Park, Cambridge (Broadway Street).
