Attend the 9th Edition of the ‘Non-coding genome’ international course!

by Aurelia Chaise

Save the date. The 9th Edition of the ‘Non-coding genome’ International course will take place from 26 February to 4 March 2020, at the Institute Curie in Paris.

This course will explore the versatility of non-genic DNA elements and non-coding RNAs across a spectrum of cellular processes, in humans and model organisms, and their implication in physiology and disease.

Thematic sessions will include the following topics:

  • Pervasive transcription and regulatory elements;
  • Non-coding genome. Pervasive transcription;
  • Long non-coding RNAs;
  • Small non-coding RNAs;Centromeres & telomeres & Genome integrity;
  • Mobile DNA;
  • Non-coding genome and RNA in clinical applications and technological innovations.

The workshop will welcome up to 30 participants (Master and PhD students from European universities, as well as Young research fellows).

Participants will also have the opportunity to present their own research during the Poster sessions and discuss it with colleagues and / or to present recent research articles in the field of non-coding genome during Journal clubs.

Application deadline: 1 December 2019.
