by Aurelia Chaise

Are you looking for a job? The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) offers two positions: a Dietary Exposure Assessor and a Junior Scientific Officer.

Dietary Exposure Assessor: Are you passionate about analysing data and developing new methodologies? Are you innovative and results-driven? Do you have solid experience in data analysis and dietary exposure assessment? Do you have eye for details and the ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders?

The successful candidate will share his/her expertise in dietary exposure with EFSA’s internal and external stakeholders and will assist in collecting, evaluating and validating data related to dietary exposure as well as develop harmonised dietary exposure methodologies.

Junior Scientific Officer: Are you a dedicated scientist with experience in the area of genetically modified organisms? Would you like to make the difference in the food and feed safety assessment in Europe? Do you have the knowledge and determination to implement policies and processes in international scientifically-driven organisations such as EFSA?

The jobholder will be employed in the Genetically Modified Organisms (GMO) Unit within the Scientific Evaluation of Regulated Products (REPRO) Department. Depending on the business needs and the profile of successful candidates, the reserve list may also be used to cover vacant positions in other EFSA scientific Units.
