Fourth International Conference of Numerical Analysis and Optimization - January 2-5, 2017, Muscat Oman

The purpose of this 4th International Conference is to bring together worldwide experts; to give presentations in the fields of Optimization and Numerical Analysis and related applications and to promote scientific exchange and discuss possibilities of further cooperation, networking and promotion of mobility of senior and young researchers and research students. In addition, presentations of novel and advanced applications in science, engineering, medicine and commerce, etc., are encouraged in order to facilitate cross-fertilization among various key sectors of pure scientific and applied knowledge.
The participants presented their results and discussed further new developments concerning applicable methods in their fields. The conference feature lectures by invited prominent scientists. In addition it also provided the opportunity to regional researchers for presenting their latest research work.
NAOIV-2017 was the 4th conference in a series organised every three years, with previous ones held in 2008, 2011 and 2014. The Conference was organised by the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, College of Science, Sultan Qaboos University; Department of Mathematics and Science, German University of Technology in Oman (GUtech); and Oman Mathematics Committee.
