Stronger together! United by efforts to share knowledge and enhance synergies, the Marie Curie Alumni Association has launched the MCAA Around the World Webinar Series. Book your seat for the next one!

Encompassing a wide variety of topics, the webinars are hosted by a representative of a Chapter or Working Group and held every second Friday of the month.

Don’t miss the fourth webinar in the series: Career Development and Research Funding for MCAA Researchers and Beyond, organised by the Swiss Chapter.

Getting funded can be challenging for a scientist. Listen to the tips and tricks of our great speakers who will guide you through the different possible sources to finance your projects.

Meet the speakers

Part 1: Isabelle Spühler (EURESEARCH Office in Switzerland) will present the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA), European Research Council (ERC) grants and will outline Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) grants.

Part 2: Christian Weber will give an overview on how the MCAA can help and support researchers (grants applications) and will discuss new ideas on how to make the most of Research Funding & Career Development for young Project Investigators.

Part 3: Béla Z. Schmidt, author of the book 'Career Advice for Young Scientists in Biomedical Research' will present his book and share his personal experiences.

Part 4: A general panel discussion will take place, in which participants will be able to ask questions and discuss with the panellists.
