Two calls of abstracts in cultural policy and cultural management - ENCATC

1st call: 7th Annual ENCATC Research Session

What is it? During half a day about 40 researchers from Europe, North and South America, Africa and Asia will present their most recent research. After the conference, the members of the Scientific Committee are invited to recommend a selection of conference papers that might be developed for publication in the annual ENCATC Journal after a blinded peer review process. In addition the best research can also be published in the ENCATC Book Series. This research session is for researchers, academics, students, cultural managers from Europe, Asia, Africa and North and South America.

• Cultural policy and arts management;
• Culture and local, regional and national development;
• Cultural heritage management;
• Cultural and creative industries;
• Culture in external relations and cultural diplomacy;
• Cultural networking.

2nd call: 3rd ENCATC Research Award on Cultural Policy and Cultural Management

What is it? The ENCATC Research Award was launched in 2014 to reward the best recently published PhD thesis presented by a young researcher.

Thematic areas:

• Developing intercultural and trans-national dimensions of cultural policies and cultural management issues;
• Culture as tool for soft power;
• Creativity, entrepreneurship and innovation;
• Participation and digitization;
• Values and ethics in cultural policy and cultural management.
