Editorial
Dear MCAA community,
This issue is dedicated to the people whose work often happens behind the scenes. Serving on the MCAA Board means balancing a demanding voluntary role with research, professional, and personal commitments, all while helping steer a global community.
In the following pages, I interviewed members of the previous 2024–2026 Board and brought together a selection of their reflections on their two-year mandate. On behalf of the Editorial Board, I would like to sincerely thank every Board member for the countless hours, dedication and passion they have invested in making the MCAA stronger.
This issue also celebrates the expertise within our community. Srishti Goyal explores how economic models inform climate policy, offering an accessible introduction to the tools behind evidence-based decision-making. Together, these articles showcase the many ways MCAA members contribute to society: by strengthening our Association, advancing research, and sharing knowledge for the benefit of us all.
