Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds Travel Grants for Junior Researchers

The Boehringer Ingelheim Fonds awards Travel Grants to Junior Researchers for visits up to 3 months.

Travel grants are awarded only for practical trainings in laboratories or courses of up to 3 months. Researchers must pursue an experimental project in basic biomedical research. They cannot be used for longer research stays.

The travel grants are open to:

  • European citizens working in Europe and overseas
  • non-European citizens who perform their MD, PhD or postdoctoral project in Europe, or will use the travel grant to work in Europe
  • PhD students not older than 30 years of age
  • postdocs not older than 32 years of age

Applications may be submitted at any time. They mention submitting at least 6 weeks before planned travel.
