Closure of the Working Group

Dear E&N-WG members,

 

We are writing in regard to the future of the Events and Networking WG.

We thank you all for the amazing work you have done with the working group, however, with the MCAA growth, we now count more than 14000 members, the scope of the E&N WG is overlapping with other WGs. 

After a difficult discussion, the MCAA board has decided to close the Event & Networking WG. The scope and key activities of the WG, such as helping emerging chapters and support local networking events, will be absorbed by the Chapter Management WG. 

Thanks again for your valuable contribution. We hope that you all continue to be involved in the different WGs and Chapters.
