Die Junge Akademie is looking for 10 news members from interdisciplinary fields of science throughout Germany.
Members are elected for a period of 5 years starting in 2017.
Every member receives a research budget of 30,000€ which can be spent on joint projects.
Requirements for a membership are:
- Completion of PhD studies with outstanding results (not longer than 7 years ago)
- Representation of the respective field with innovation, passion and the ability for interdisciplinary discourse
- at least 1 outstanding publication
- available time for active participation in the next 5 years
The application deadline is 30 November 2016.
