Funding available for the EURAXESS Links event in Beijing - only for MCAA members based in China
Dear All,
The last year I established a cooperation with EURAXESS Links and arranged special benefits for the MCAA members residing in areas covered by this network – especially in Brazil, India and China. This included possibility for our members to speak at their events (including high-level meetings) and get funded (within budget limits) for participating conferences they organise.
I am happy to inform you that MCAA members residing in China can receive a travel grant to participate an event which the EURAXESS Links China organises in cooperation with the EU delegation in Beijing! This will be also opportunity for our members to connect to each other on regional basis and work toward establishing the MCAA China chapter.
Please, read the message from EURAXESS Links China below. It contains important details on how to apply. Good luck with your applications!

Dear colleague,
As a recipient of funding under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) of the European Commission, we would like to invite you as to participate at a workshop dedicated to Strengthening Marie Skłodowska-Curie Alumni Network in China.
The event will take place at 28 April 2016 in the EU Delegation in Beijing. The afternoon workshop will bring together researchers who have received a grant by any of the funding scheme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions under current or previous Framework Programmes.
The event will:
- Bring together China-based MSCA former fellows and participants (Individual Fellowships, IRSES/RISE in China, Europe or elsewhere) to network and discuss strategies on how to create, support and engage in a researchers’-driven community
- Explore how MSCA alumni in China can jointly support researchers’ mobility between China and Europe, as well as research cooperation between Europe and China
- Facilitate the creation of China MSCA alumni chapter - a community of people with common experiences and interests that would create a collective voice via which the MSCA fellows can address the wider EU-China research community
The event will be followed by a cocktail reception.
Researchers of any nationality, currently in China, are invited. Travel expenditures to non-Beijing based participants can be covered to a limited extent on a first come, first serve basis.
We hope very much you will be able to join us.
