Introducing MSCA programme to 23 top leaders of Indonesia Private Higher Education Institutions

Jakarta (23 May 2018) - Indonesia has 3,200 private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), which include universities, polytechnics, academies and colleges. Therefore, they contributes important role in the academic development landscape. In May 21-23, 2018, 23 top leaders, i.e. rectors, vice-rectors, directors, and deans of Indonesian Private Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) have been gathered for an intensive leadership and HEI management workshop in Santika Hotel, Bintaro city, Indonesia. The workshop entitled Indonesia Deans' Course for Private Higher Education Institution (INADC-PHEI), which is part of the National Multiplication Training (NMT) of DIES programme (Dialogue on Innovative Higher Education Strategies) with funding from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Development and Cooperation (BMZ) and which aims at strengthening higher education in developing countries through international cooperation, capacity building and exchange in the field of higher education management and research. Dr. Tatas Brotosudarmo, Chair of Southeast Asia Chapter, was the project manager of this workshop. On Wednesday, he had the opportunity to present MSCA programmes, especially IF and RISE, to these 23 top leaders. Dr. Brotosudarmo has highlighted the important of MSCA programmes in developing and strengthening scientific capacity of lecturers, researchers and staffs of the private HEI in Indonesia.
