In the light of apparent inactivity , the MCAA board recently decided to 'demote' the California Chapter to a 'Regional Group' with no official chapter status or MCAA funding. This situation can be reversed if activities can be re-started. It might be a good idea to look at a wider 'USA Group' - if they can manage an 'Africa Chapter' (pretty active networking going on) then the same should be possible in the USA - maybe even include Canada?
