Dear All,
As the main organiser of the panel, I am very pleased to inform you that our proposal "Perspectives of the Marie Skłodowska‐Curie Fellows in the Archaeological and Cultural Heritage Fields" for the MCAA session at the 24th Annual Meeting of the European Association of Archaeologists (EAA) has been accepted.
The EAA is an association for all archaeologists in Europe and beyond. It has participatory status with the Council of Europe. It is a member of the European Heritage Alliance 3.3 and has been chosen to be one of the Voices of Culture and Heritage for the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018. The organisation has involved more than 12,000 members in its 23 years of existence.
The EEA 2018 will take place in Barcelona from 5th to 8th September. The event will be attended by between 2,000 and 2,500 participants. Our session is scheduled on 7th September (14:00-16:00).
Same as last year, the E&N WG will set up a booth at the conference venue in order to promote the MCAA’s activities. At the booth the MCAA fellows will invite to promote the existence, content and main contacts of the MCAA to groups, companies, autonomous researchers, and political and research institutions. The overall objective of our participation in this event will be to reinforce the network of the particular community of MCAA fellows and members of the EAA: it is significantly dynamic and powerful in terms of intellectual ambition and practical relevance.
Warm regards,
Angela
