New Ideas, task force, WG, Chapter

Dear everyone

It was great to meet many of you at the GA. After meeting so many talented minds at one place, I have few ideas to start and need your support to work upon whenever there will be new Call to be open.

1. New Task Force: 'Branding and Marketing'

2. New working group: 'US-EU research collaboration' for exchange researchers who have worked in both continents.

3. New Chapter: 'US marie curie Chapter'

Kindly post below which one appeals toy ou most and you would like to participate and we can write an application together.

Hello all,

It was indeed a pleasure to get to know you all personally.

As I already commented to many of you during the meeting, I have quite an extensive experience in graphics and web development, user interface development, SEO (search engine optimization) and social network oriented internet marketing. Before dedicating myself to the PHd I worked as a freelancer doing these things for a number of years and have a portfolio of projects to show for it.

I would be willing to join a productivity-focused initiative to improve the accessibility, functionality and branding of MCAA. As an engineer and programmer, however, from the start I would be an advocate of effective, in-house solutions which are faster to carry out and more in-touch with our needs. In other words a no BS approach :)

Under New Task Force: 'Branding and Marketing' i am thinking to include more scientific outreach activity such as MCAA global science quiz, lecture / Public talk series and scientific essay / write up / Poem etc.

The new Board and structural profiling group have shown interest in our initiative and we are going to take it further to establish Task Force: Branding and Marketing (we may decide another name and leader of the group (by voting) later). Please be quick as we have to submit the plan in coming 2-3 weeks. The Sooner, the Better.
