by Communication Team

The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) will hold its next Annual Conference (AC) and General Assembly (GA) in Krakow, Poland, on March 21st and 22nd, 2025, with various satellite events taking place on March 19th and 20th.

We are pleased to announce that registration for the 2025 edition of the MCAA Annual Conference and General Assembly is now open! This year’s edition of our flagship event, themed “Research and innovation in a rapidly evolving world,” will be held at the AGH University of Krakow.

In this article, you will find detailed instructions on registering for the Annual Conference, the Gala Dinner, satellite events, and sightseeing tours of Krakow organised around these dates.

Register for the Annual Conference before February 28th to take advantage of the early bird rate. The regular registration deadline is March 10th.

Please note that the General Assembly (GA) is a separate event open to MCAA members only, taking place on March 22nd from 14:15 to 17:30. Please register for the GA using this link or the button below.

Step 1: Select the events and activities you want to register for

The registration link will direct you to the Whova registration page, where you can select all the events and activities you want to attend, including the Annual Conference, the Gala Dinner, satellite events, and sightseeing tours of Krakow. Please note that online attendance is only possible at the Annual Conference and not the other activities.

By clicking “See More” below each ticket type (see image below), you can read more about the eligibility of each ticket option and information about the different events and activities. Choose all activities you want to join from the list by clicking on the corresponding dropdown menu under the “Quantity” column on the right-hand side (see image below).

  • For the Gala Dinner (“Gala Dinner - MCAA members”) and “Gala Dinner - Non-members)

If you are a speaker, moderator, organiser, or rapporteur in one or more of the Annual Conference sessions (NOT a poster or lightning talk presenter or speaker at the satellite events), you must choose the “Speakers, Moderators & Rapporteurs (Onsite/Online)” option from the registration list (see image below).

Please note that speakers, moderators, organisers and rapporteurs of the conference sessions will still need to register for the satellite events and Gala Dinner.
