Southeast Asia Chapter AGM in conjunction with Train the Trainers "Funding Proposal Writing" in Bangkok, 26th May 2018

Dear MCAA Colleagues, The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) SEA Chapter will organise its 2nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2018 on May 26th at Novotel Bangkok in Siam Square, Bangkok, Thailand. The AGM is open to all members of the MCAA Southeast Asia Chapter. This meeting is being organised with the support of EURAXESS ASEAN. Our Chapter has received financial support from both the MCAA and EURAXESS ASEAN to cover the travel and accommodation costs of up to eight (8) MCAA Southeast Asia Chapter members resident within ASEAN. We also have sufficient funds to cover the airfares costs of an additional seven (7) MCAA Southeast Asia Chapter members who are based in ASEAN and wish to attend. Accommodation costs for these additional 7 participants may be covered through a MCAA micro grant. At the AGM we will be reviewing our chapter structure & activities to date and agree on future activities. EURAXESS ASEAN has also arranged for a two-hour training session on how to effectively promote the Marie Curie Sklodowska Curie Actions (MSCA) as part of the AGM. This training will be led by Ms Katia Insogna, EU Senior Research & Innovation Consultant and Trainer with the UK-based Innovative Technology and Science Ltd. Katia is a highly competent consultant and trainer with more than 15 years expertise in EU Research & Innovation funding programmes. If you are available and interested in participating in the AGM in Bangkok on May 26th, please let me know by email: tatas.brotosudarmo@gmail.com or WhatsApp +6282141490052. Please note that these funds from MCAA and EURAXESS ASEAN can be only used to cover return economy airfares within ASEAN. If you are living outside of the ASEAN and would like to participate in the AGM, then you can apply for a MCAA micro grant: https://www.mariecuriealumni.eu/micro-grants Best regards, Tatas (Chair)
