Christmas bonus with MSCA IF salary in Germany

Hi all,

I am a current MSCA IF recipient at the MPIBPC in Göttingen. I have been told that MSCA fellows are not eligible for Christmas bonuses. Is this true? I am concerned because this amounts to almost a month's pay.

Hi Shreya, It depends on what type of contract you signed with your host. If you are employed on TVL13 100% contract, your will receive bonus just like any other employ in the institute, it also depending on the institute/ University…

Hi Shreya. The information seems to be correct. I just checked my bank account records and my salary throughout my period as a fellow was fairly the same. Regards, Kolade
