Screening of "Science in Exile" as part of Refugee Festival Scotland

The Council for At-Risk Academics and the Global Academy of Agriculture and Food Security of the University of Edinburgh will be hosting a screening of the The World Academy of Sciences documentary: “Science in Exile” at LT G.03 in 50 George Square (Edinburgh) on the 17th June between 5:00pm and 7:00pm. After the screening, there will be a panel discussion on the topic: “Science without borders. Supporting academics in times of conflict”. Further details and registration can be found on Eventbrite.

Science in Exile tells the story of four scientists from developing countries, who struggle to continue their research careers in times of conflict in their native countries, Yemen, Syria and Iraq.
