The MCAA Annual Conference 2027 will take place on 14–17 April 2027 in Bucharest, Romania, bringing together the global Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) community and key voices from the European research and innovation landscape.

Have you ever had the opportunity to see a manuscript that is hundreds of years old, or discover how knowledge was preserved and shared long before modern printing?

The MCAA Swiss Chapter invites its members to a special visit to Dr. Jörn Günther Rare Books, an internationally renowned specialist in medieval and Renaissance illuminated manuscripts, rare books, and historical works.

This exclusive visit will offer an opportunity to discover remarkable examples of bookmaking, art, and the history of knowledge. As the gallery is not generally open for casual public visits, this is a unique experience specially arranged for our members.

And the afternoon doesn't end there! 🎄

After the visit, we will head together to the Basel Christmas Market to enjoy the festive atmosphere, reconnect with fellow MCAA members, and celebrate the end of the year.

The event is open to all MCAA members, regardless of their research discipline or career stage.

From MSCA Fellow to leading networks and mentoring future researchers!

Jelena is a Professor in Digital Engineering at Durham University and President of UKACM, Jelena has coordinated two MSCA doctoral training networks and currently hosts four Postdoctoral Fellows. Her research brings together digital twins, simulation and AI to make infrastructure more resilient.

Join the MCAA Ireland Chapter for a networking and peer-support event taking place on the fringes of the MSCA Presidential Conference in Dublin.

The event will feature a peer-support workshop facilitated in collaboration with MCAA Career Development Manager Pooja Khurana, bringing together early-career researchers and experienced members of the Irish research community. Participants will also learn about the MCAA and its activities, explore funding opportunities in Ireland, and hear first-hand experiences from researchers who have successfully transitioned beyond their MSCA fellowships. The programme will include contributions from MCAA leadership and Chapter representatives, followed by a Q&A session.

Join researchers, innovators, and science diplomacy leaders in Tokyo (or stream live worldwide) on November 4–5, 2026.

This summer, more than 220 researchers submitted their work to Europe AI Summer Research, EuroTech Federation’s pan-European programme for early-career AI research. More than 70 reviewers from universities and labs across Europe read every paper and wrote over 150 detailed reviews. Five finalists were selected.

​On Friday 30 October, each finalist has three minutes and one poster to present their research, followed by five minutes of questions from a technical jury. Then we announce the winners and spend the evening together over food and drinks.

Registration is now open for MSCA@30 Poland: Celebrating Careers, Connections and Impact!
We invite you to join us on 29 October 2026 in Warsaw to celebrate 30 years of Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions in Poland.
The event is co-organised with the Polish Academy of Sciences (PAN) and the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) and will bring together MSCA fellows, alumni, researchers and institutional representatives to exchange experiences and discuss research careers, mobility, wellbeing, international collaboration and the impact of MSCA in Poland.

The event accompanies the MSCA 30-year anniversary conference organised by the Polish National Contact Point for MSCA, which takes place on 28 October in Warsaw. The conference will be held in Polish.
