MCAA Turkey Chapter Event: How to attract researchers to Türkiye with MSCA? and Work Life Balance

The MCAA Turkey Chapter is hosting an informative event on two important topics of academics and research. The first focus area examines utilizing Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) to recruit notable researchers to Turkey. This aspect promotes Turkey's appeal to international researchers through talks on collaboration, funding, and professional development. The event also addresses scholarly work-life balance. By understanding researchers' needs and challenges, the conversations will focus on effective strategies, support networks, and efforts to balance professional and personal responsibilities. This session aims to help Turkish researchers a,d beyong succeed academically and personally by analyzing ideal approaches and providing pragmatic viewpoints. Please join us for a thought-provoking discussion on how Turkey may improve its research environment and prioritize scientist wellbeing. The BSB WG supports the MCAA Turkey Chapter event, which brings together Turkey Chapter members to organize and plan future activities.

Webinar: Tips And Tricks For Risk Management

This online event, co-hosted by the EARMA Post Award Project Management Thematic Group and the MCAA Project Management Working Group, focuses on Risk Management in research grants. The one-hour session features two speakers: Irène Arrata from the National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Inserm), discussing Risk Management definitions and methodologies; and Leah Wren from Queen Mary University, sharing experiences in managing financial risks in high-risk countries. The event includes a welcome and introduction by Pauline Rasera from RMIT Europe, followed by each speaker's presentation, an interactive discussion and Q&A session, and concludes with a briefing on upcoming events. The seminar is designed for project managers and staff involved in research grants, providing insights into risk assessment and management throughout the research grant cycle.
