2019 Regional Studies Association Winter Conference: Turbulent Times: Rethinking Regions and Cities

The 2019 RSA Winter Conference, will take place from 14 to 15 November in London (UK). The history of regions and the ‘regional studies project’ has always had at its core concerns relating to new and increased social and spatial inequalities resulting from economic and political change. The conference aims to discuss and debate these issues, to establish the need and nature of future research imperatives in the field, and to address the concerns and challenges confronting practitioners and policymakers. Gdansk hang-out to celebrate Marie Skłodowska Curie's Birthday

Hello All! 7th of November is the Birthdate of none other than Marie Skłodowska Curie. I think it will be a great occassion to have a hang-out for all the MCAA members in Gdansk. The next Annual Meeting of Bulgaria Chapter will take place in Sofia on October 25 (Friday), 2019 from 14:00 - 17:30, in the Info center of the Joint Innovation center of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences – “Acad. Stammtisch in Berlin with MCAA and MPAA October 24th at 6:30pm   Welcome to an informal Stammtisch in Berlin together with the MCAA German chapter and the Max Planck Alumni Association. The event will take place at mix.it on October 24th from 6:30pm onwards. Network with other researches and listen to MCAA and MPAA member Daniel Rohr who will give a presentation about his involvement in the robotic project Emily.
