This call for hosting the 2025 edition is addressed to MCAA members and has to be supported by the local Chapter, therefore it can only be submitted by a Chapter Chair. While the general organisation will be led by the MCAA Board and the MCAA Secretariat, it is crucial that the applicant has an active (local) team that can take care of the local organisation. If you are a Working Group Chair wanting to submit the application, please connect and coordinate with the local Chapter Chair in your geographical region.
Please find further details about preferred dates, proposal requirements and general rules, here. Submission deadline: 10th April, 2024.
Please refer to the original email sent on the 14th Feb, 2024
5. European Association of Research Managers and Administrators (EARMA):
a. As of 20th February 2024, MCAA is an institutional member of EARMA and can potentially support the MCAA members to get discounts in attending EARMA events and conferences if your proposals are accepted.
6. Project Proposal trainings, especially for non-European countries:
a. Research Funding WG will initiate and lead this endeavour and the Research Management WG (and perhaps Gledson) can assist in conducting these trainings.
b. If this endeavour could be of interest to you or your Chapter members, please get in touch with the Research Funding WG Chair.
7. Interesting post from the European Research Executive Agency (REA):
