Marie Curie Meets Finland
Marie Curie Meets Finland is the first event in the country-focused Marie Curie series. It features six Marie Curie fellows and researchers from major Finnish universities sharing their study, research, and living experiences in Finland, as well as practical tips for MSCA applications.

Hosted by Dr. Mo Fan from MCAA China Chapter and Jiawei Yang from MCAA Finland Chapter, the event will be held online on November 29 and is supported by the MCAA China Chapter, MCAA Finland Chapter, EURAXESS China, and other partners.

Science Summit UN GA: Women-Led Scientific Collaborations Advancing Gender-Inclusive Innovation for the SDGs
The Marie Curie Alumni Assoc Genders Equity Diversity & Inclusion WG, together with BPW International, is proud to be co-hosting a session at the Science Summit 2025 in New York, part of the United Nations General Assembly 80, taking place from 9–26 September 2025.

The Summit will focus on the essential role of science in addressing societal challenges while respecting planetary boundaries to advance global well-being.

Our session, "STEMpower: Women-Led Scientific Collaborations Advancing Gender-Inclusive Innovation for the SDGs", will be held on 12 September at 17:00 CET. It will highlight how women-led collaborations strengthen research and translate evidence into equitable impact.

Webinar: Tips And Tricks For Risk Management
This online event, co-hosted by the EARMA Post Award Project Management Thematic Group and the MCAA Project Management Working Group, focuses on Risk Management in research grants. The one-hour session features two speakers: Irène Arrata from the National Institute for Health and Medical Research (Inserm), discussing Risk Management definitions and methodologies; and Leah Wren from Queen Mary University, sharing experiences in managing financial risks in high-risk countries. The event includes a welcome and introduction by Pauline Rasera from RMIT Europe, followed by each speaker's presentation, an interactive discussion and Q&A session, and concludes with a briefing on upcoming events. The seminar is designed for project managers and staff involved in research grants, providing insights into risk assessment and management throughout the research grant cycle.
